For those of you that are new to the forum, all the different abreviations we use around here can get pretty confusing.  Here's a list of some of them:

2WW = two week wait (from when you ovulate until you should test if AF doesn't arrive)
AF = Aunt Flo (aka - menstrual period)
BBT~Basal Body temperature
BD - Baby Dance (aka - sex)
BFP~big fat positive
BFN~big fat negative
CD~Cycle Day
CM~Cervical Mucus
DPO~Days past Ovulation
EPT~Early Pregnancy Test
EWCM~Egg white cervical mucous (the most fertile, closest to ovulation)
HPT~Home pregnancy test
IUI~Intra-uterine insemination
IVF = in vitro fertilization
LH~Lutenizing hormone
LP~luteal phase
MC, m/c~miscarriage
O~ovulation
OPK~ovulation predictor Kit
PG~pregnant
POAS~Pee on a stick
Prog = progesterone
RE~reproductive endocrinologist
SA = semen analysis
TTC~trying to conceive

Thanks for posting the abbrevations.  You can pick up most of them through context, but there have been some that has me stumped.

Until today, I have been translating BD as bed down in my head, since that was the only euphemism for sex that I could think of that started with BD.

What's POAS?  I mean, I understand it in context- it's taking a pregnancy test.  But what does the actual acronym stand for?
