I am--I'm 37 weeks now!
I'm actually feeling pretty good, all things considered. I mean, I'm tired and huge and uncomfortable, but other than that, things are still going well. I'm planning to be at work through next week, provided the little guy is still on the inside, but we'll see how that goes.
I'll definately post here after he makes his arrival--I'm not sure I would have survived the TTC ordeal without the support I got here, so I'll want to share him with all of you!
Carol, how are you doing?

Lizardsmom-I cannot believe 1 year has gone by already!
AR-37 weeks how awesome! I cannot believe how close you are. I am doing well and within a week of the halfway point. Next week I will be 20 weeks and go for the big ultrasound but we are not going to find out what we are having. Please keep us posted on your little ones arrival.

Lizardsmom, I can't believe it's a year already, either! carol, I'm so glad to hear you're doing well! Nope, we haven't settled on a name. We didn't name Alice until she was born (though we did have a short list), so we're planning to do the same with this babe. Actually, Alice was a very late addition to the list, and not really that near the top. Once she was born, it seemed pretty clear to both of us that it suited her more than any of the other names. Here's hoping we'll be able to agree again!  |

Just stopping back in to update--I'm still hanging in there, but the waiting is starting to get difficult!
I had an internal at my appointment on Monday, and I was already at 3-4 cm and 25% effaced. It's Friday now, and I certainly didn't expect to still be waiting for something to happen! Of course, we're coming up on a holiday weekend, so I'm looking at giving birth with whatever OB happens to be on call over the weekend. There's a chance it might be someone from my practice, but no guarantee. *sigh*. I'm trying to be patient, but I can't say I'm doing it all that well.
Here's hoping my next update includes a birth story!

Yeah, I'm still pregnant.  If anyone has any spare labor thoughts, I could use them! Not much has changed since my last appointment, and I'm really hoping to avoid another induction. Come on baby! |
