After being on an antibotic for 12 days Ben developed thrush.  He has it in his mouth and on his bottom.  His bottom is super red and looks like it hurts.  He's only 11 months old so he can't really tell us when it hurts or not.  He's eating his food so I don't think the spots in his mouth are bothering him.  Mike took him to the doctor yesterday and she gave us another antibotic that is for mouth infections we are supposed to squirt in his mouth on both sides of his cheeks 4 times a day and we use lotrimin on his bottom until he's done with all his medication.

Anyone have experience in dealing with a baby with thrush?  Does it get worse before it gets better?  Any good parenting advice I need to know to help make his healing process better for him (and us)?
