I just stocked up when it was a good deal at CVS.  I'll have to check my bottles!

I just went to check ours and discovered that apparently I've been buying generic without realizing it.

I wouldn't worry too much if you've used it, but I'd definitely toss what's left. The recall states that "no bacteria has been detected in finished products, but the recall was issued as a precaution."

The only bottle we have that is affected is the 1 oz. travel size that came free with the 4 oz. bottle so I'm just tossing it.  It's not worth the hassle of trying to get ahold of a replacement.  It was free anyway.

Thanks for the info! I have not bought any for several months, so I am thinking we should be good. Off to check!

Yeah, it's been months since I used it. I'm not going to worry anymore about it and toss it. From the comments, it seems like too much trouble to get ahold of someone. The one we have was given to us, so no real biggie.

Honestly, I wouldn't worry too much unless you have or have regular contact with someone with CF. The bacteria they detected is one that is present in soil and water. It's virtually harmless to healthy people. If you have some kind of chronic lung disease, it's a big fat hairy deal. If you, for example, have cystic fibrosis, it's catastrophic Sad.

Did anyone see that episode of Private Practise with the CF dad who had 2 CF kids and his daughter was dying of an antibiotic resistant bacteria? This is the same one they found in the Tylenol raw materials.
